ΑΡΘΡΟ: The year 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Mundus programme, a pioneering initiative designed to jointly deliver higher education Master’s programmes with institutions across the globe. To celebrate this milestone, the anniversary conference “Beyond Borders and Boundaries: 20 years of Erasmus Mundus” was held on 27-28 May 2024. Ahead of the conference, the European Commission published an impact study, “20 Years of Erasmus Mundus: Beyond Borders and Boundaries,” which assesses the programme’s influence at multiple levels, from individual participants to global educational networks. This in-depth study offers valuable insights into Erasmus Mundus’ contributions over the past two decades. Check out the study. Following the conference, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency has recently published the resulting conference report to highlight the programme’s evolution and recommendations for the future. The publication outlines the forward-looking discussions that took place during the event and the key recommendations from the conference participants. These insights feed into a broader mid-term evaluation of the current Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027) and its different actions, notably Erasmus Mundus. Check out the report.
