The Office of the Commissioner for Volunteerism and Non-Governmental Organisations, in the framework of its policy for support of Non-Governmental Organisations, has proceeded with the establishment of the “Volunteer House”, in Lefkosia. The “Volunteer House”, in Lefkosia was created in a state-owned space, in the Industrial Area of Kokkinotrimithia and has been configured accordingly, so that it can host up to 30 Organisations.
The “Volunteer House” can house and provide basic office equipment (offices, computers, telephones, etc.) to Voluntary and Non-Governmental Organisations.
Additionally, the Events Hall and the Conference Room are provided free of charge to all Organisations, even those not housed there.
The Events Hall is equipped with all the necessary equipment and can accommodate up to 150 people (now 75 people, due to measures to contain the pandemic). The Conference Room also has the necessary equipment for presentations.
Office space or the Conference Room may be used, following an application process and as long as the criteria that have already been determined are met, such as not having privately owned buildings.
