The European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA) is an EU initiative, which aims to present and promote the excellent teaching practices implemented under the Erasmus + programme, as well as the recognition of the work of teachers and schools at national level. From this year, this initiative is established as an annual institution valid throughout the Programming Period 2021-27.
The European Award Ceremony of the European Innovative Teaching Award 2021 took place online in Brussels on 20 October 2021. The award, which covers four categories according to the fields of education (Preschool Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education) in 104 projects, including four Cypriot projects:
- Project 1: CLIL in Pre-primary Education: Building a network of good CLIL practice Education.
- Project 2: The Living Book – Augmenting Reading For Life (Primary Education)
- Project 3: Increasing Students Employability and Enhancing Educator’s Teaching methods
- Project 4: Passengers on the same bus! No place for discrimination, segregation, and inequality (Secondary Education)
