Three new funding programs, totaling € 13 million, were presented by the Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Nikolas P. Mastrogiannopoulos and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF). The goal of the programmes, which are part of the new National Program Framework of RIF for the period 2021-2027, with a budget of € 150 million, is to strengthen the ecosystem of start-ups and innovative enterprises, in a way that creates long-term socio-economic benefits.
The Innovation Programmes, which are the first to be presented in the framework of the “Cyprus – Tomorrow” Recovery and Sustainability Plan, were announced at an event held today, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Konstantinos Petridis. and the General Director of the Ministry of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy, Mr. Stelios Winter.
