The call for accreditation/renewal of the Erasmus Charter aims to accredit recognized higher education institutions (HEIs) located in eligible countries, so that they can participate in Erasmus+ program activities, such as the Learning Mobility of individuals (Key Action 1) and/or the Collaborative Partnerships (Key Action 2) to exchange good practices and develop innovation.
The award of the Erasmus Charter is valid for the entire duration of the Erasmus+ programming period (2021-2027) and until the completion of the projects financed within the said programming period. It is noted that ECHE holders will be subject to regular monitoring by the National Service of their country.
The award of the ECHE does not automatically entail any direct funding under the Erasmus+ programme.
