“Business Research“: The aim is to intensify the participation of Cypriot companies in R&D activities, with a budget specifically for companies without previous substantial participation
The Research and Innovation Foundation (R&I) announces two new calls with a total budget of €6 million, continuing its practical support to the Research and Innovation ecosystem of Cyprus.
The invitations are part of the “Research in Business” Program of the İDEK and are an opportunity for small, medium and large Cypriot companies to create new or substantially improved products, services or production methods of high added value. The ultimate goal of the Program is to intensify the participation of Cypriot companies in Research and Development activities.
With the aim of strengthening the ability of a greater number of businesses to innovate, a budget of €1 million will be allocated to businesses that have not previously submitted proposals as Contracting Bodies to the IdEK within the framework of the Foundation’s R&D Programs.
The maximum funding per project amounts to €200,000.
Proposals are submitted through portal IRIS of IDEK and the closing date is April 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. It is noted that the calls are funded by the Next Generation EU Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
