The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call for proposals of the “European Partnerships – SBEP” Program (EP/SBEP/0223). The call budget is €2,000,000, with a maximum funding of €250,000 per project. The Closing Date for Submission of Proposals International Proposal is 14 April 2023 at 15:00 (CET). The Closing Date for Submission of Proposals at the IRIS Portal of IDEK is at 21st  April 2023 at 13:00 (local time). The European Partnership «Sustainable Blue Economy (SBEP)», is a European partnership, consisting of 60 partners from 25 countries, to manage a Joint Research and Innovation Programme. SBEP’s vision is to plan, steer and support a just and inclusive transition to a regenerative, resilient and sustainable blue economy. The SBEP aims to drive the transformation needed towards a climate-neutral, sustainable, productive and competitive blue economy by 2030, while creating and supporting the conditions for a healthy ocean for people by 2050. This Call will be co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Political Cohesion Program “THALEIA” 2021-2027 under Priority 1: “Competitive, Smart and Digital Economy” and the Special Objective ( 1i): “Development and strengthening of capacity for research and innovation and adoption of advanced technologies”. Research Organizations (A.1, A.2), Businesses (B.1, B.2, B.3) and Other Private Sector Bodies (C.1) have the right to participate in this program.
