The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces three (3) new Calls for proposals of the “European Partnerships – Key Digital Technologies” Program (EP/KDT-IA/0223, EP/KDT-IA-FT/0223, EP/KDT- RIA/0223). The total budget of the above Calls is €3,000,000 with a maximum funding of €500,000 per project (for Cypriot entities). The “European Partnerships – Key Digital Technologies” Program supports the participation of entities from Cyprus in international experimental development or industrial research projects implemented within the framework of the European Partnership Key Digital Technologies (KDT). The European KDT Partnership aims to strengthen the strategic autonomy of the EU in the field of electronic components and systems (Electronic Components and Systems). Specifically, through the funded Projects, the KDT Partnership seeks to ensure that the EU has the necessary expertise in key technologies of general application to become a leader in the global digital economy. This includes the development of advanced semiconductors and applications that are vital to European society and contribute to the EU’s digital strategy and the European Green Deal. The Project proposal is submitted electronically (on-line application form) by the Coordinator of the International Cooperation Network, through the EU electronic Platform for the HORIZON Europe Program. The Cypriot bodies that will participate in transnational proposals that will be submitted, should, in addition to the central submission of the transnational Proposal, also submit a proposal to the RIF, through the IRIS Portal.
