The Pathways2Resilience programme has launched a call for Expressions of Interest, marking the first step for regions and communities to engage in this Mission Adaptation project. The Pathways2Resilience programme will allocate €21 000 000 across 100 regions and communities through two call cycles, while also providing a range of support services and capacity-building activities to support the co-design of locally led pathways towards a climate-resilient future, providing them with guidance adaptable to local needs the formulation.
The Expression of Interest questionnaire allows regions and communities to express their interest and motivation to join the Pathways2Resilience programme. The questionnaire also aims to collect information on regions and communities’ adaptation barriers and capacities, which will be used in the design of the programme’s services and activities.
The expectation is that local and regional authorities will be the entity applying to both the Expression of Interest, and the later calls. However, it is expected that other actors from the local ecosystem will support the public authorities during the process.
More information can be found on the Pathways2Resilience website, including a recording of the information webinar. The presentation of the webinar can be found here.
Local and regional public authorities from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries can express their interest by filling in this questionnaire by 15 September 2023, 18h00 (Brussels time).
