The Research and Innovation Foundation (R&I) informs that within the framework of the “Research in Business” Program it will proceed within the next few days with a Call for Proposals “Research in Business – Energy” with a budget of €4 million. The “Business Research – Energy” Program aims to involve Cypriot companies in research activities (TRL 4-7) for the development of technological solutions of high added value which will respond to challenges that Cyprus faces in the production, storage, transmission and distribution of electricity energy and which solutions can at a later stage, if deemed useful, be used by electricity production, storage, transmission and distribution organizations. Proposals to be submitted for funding under this Call should fall within one of the following Specific Objectives addressed by electricity generation and transmission organizations.
