New €2 Million Funding Call from the RIF
With the aim of strengthening Cyprus-Greece cooperation, enhancing research and innovation, and promoting the adoption of advanced technologies, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) and Greece’s General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) are launching a new joint funding call of €2 million under the European Partnerships Programme.
The programme offers funding of up to €100,000 to promote and support cooperation between Greek and Cypriot research/academic organisations and businesses.
The joint call will support projects that fall under the Smart Specialisation Strategy, such as digital technologies, agri-food, marine and maritime ecosystems, renewable energy and health.
The Transnational Network must include at least one Research Organisation/ academic institution and one enterprise from each country.
This call is co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Cohesion Policy Programme ‘THALIA 2021-2027’.
The deadline for submitting proposals is the 27th of February 2025 and the RIF IRIS portal.
