The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new calls for proposals for the Sponsorships Programme 2025. The RIF’s Sponsorships Programme promotes the Foundation’s strategic goal of nurturing a Culture of Research and Innovation (R&I) in the ecosystem and the wider public through actions that support R&I, including skills development. The Call with identifier SPONSORSHIPS/EVENTS/0325 aims to support entities for the organisation of high-quality events with significant impact, with a central theme that aims to promote research, technological and innovation, as well as the promotion of digital skills and STEM to the general public. The Call budget is €340.000 (for two periods), with maximum funding for each period and category as follows: 1^st Implementation period €170.000

• Category Α (Large scale events): €100.000
• Category Β1 (Medium scale events): €30.000
• Category Β2 (Medium scale events for promotion of digital skills): €20.000
• Category Β3 (Medium scale events to disseminate results to the general public): €20.000

2^nd Implementation period €170.000

• Category Α (Large scale events): €100.000
• Category Β1 (Medium scale events): €30.000
• Category Β2 (Medium scale events for promotion of digital skills): €20.000
• Category Β3 (Medium scale events to disseminate results to the general public): €20.000

1^st Implementation Period: 17/06/2025 – 16/12/2025, deadline 09/05/2025. 2^nd Implementation Period:  17/12/2025 – 16/06/2026 deadline 07/11/2025. The Call with identifier SPONSORSHIPS/COMP/0325 supports the participation of groups of students in International Competitions. The Call budget is €60.000, with maximum funding €10.000 per Competition and €500 per person. The implementation period is 17/06/2025 – 16/06/2026 with deadline 17/03/2026 or until budget exhaustion The applicants must use the relevant application for each Call and submitted at sponsorship@research.org.cy.
