The Agriculture Development Programme 2014-2020 is the main agricultural policy instrument for the development of primary production and the Cypriot countryside. It consists of a series of measures that aim at the strengthening of the competitiveness of agriculture, the ensured sustainable management of natural resources and the achievement of a balanced territorial development, including job creation.
The Measure aims to encourage investment activity through support for tangible or intangible investments in processing facilities, winery infrastructure and/or marketing of wine.
The maximum percentage of support is 40% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries A, 20% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries B and 15% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries C.
In case an unallocated amount remains after the completion of the evaluation of all applications, the maximum sponsorship amount may be differentiated upwards, based on the order of submission of each application.
Beneficiaries of the financial aid to be granted through the Measure are existing and new companies that produce or market the products listed in Part II of Annex VII to Regulation (EU) 1308/2013, producer organizations, associations of two or more producers or interbranch organizations and fall into the following categories:
