Funding through CERV programme aims at protecting rights and values enshrined in the EU treaties in order to sustain open, democratic and inclusive societies.
The objective of this call is the protection and promotion of the right to the protection of personal data.
Αctions under this priority should aim to further support activities carried out by national data protection authorities in Member States to facilitate the implementation of GDPR obligations by small and medium-sized enterprises, and to raise awareness about the GDPR among the general public.
Helping national data protection authorities in Member States reach out to businesses and the general public by:
Interventions to raise awareness of the GDPR among the general public shall take into account a gender-equality perspective in their design and implementation.
Successful projects should ensure easy access to and wide dissemination of their results to all groups of society including minorities, and specifically people with disabilities.

Project budgets (maximum grant amount) are expected to range between €75.000 and €250.000 per project.
The grant awarded may be lower than the amount requested.
In order to be eligible, the lead applicants (coordinators) must be national Data Protection Authorities within the meaning of Article 51 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, with only one application per Member State being accepted:
