The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (hereinafter “EuroHPC JU”), will contribute to the ambition of value creation in the Union with the overall mission to develop, deploy, extend and maintain in the Union an integrated world class supercomputing and quantum computing infrastructure and to develop and support a highly competitive and innovative High Performance Computing (HPC) ecosystem, extreme scale, power-efficient and highly resilient HPC and data technologies.
An Innovation Action (D) within the KDT JV, consists mainly of activities with the aim of introducing technology or method, pilot lines, bed tests, demonstrations, innovation pilots and full-scale test zones. For this purpose it may include prototyping, testing, demonstration, pilot implementation, large-scale product validation and market reproduction.
An “introduction of technology or method” aims at development, testing and application of new technologies, tools or methods, which are a critical element of it innovative products, which will be created in future projects.

Maximum EU contribution per participant in a project is limited to 30% of the total EU funding for the project.
An industrial consortium that may consist of:
