The Programme aims to improve and promote health in the Union to reduce the burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases by:
The objective is to ensure the participation of health NGOs in activities that are necessary to implement one or more specific objectives of the EU4Health Programme. Hence, operating grants should provide support to the functioning of certain NGOs during 2023 for activities including awareness raising on various health aspects, communication and dissemination, capacity building and training, expert collaboration and networking.
Operating grants should provide support to the functioning of certain NGOs during 2023 financial year for activities including awareness raising on various health aspects, communication and dissemination, capacity building and training, expert collaboration and networking.
Through their core operational activities the health NGO will deliver on increased health literacy and health promotion, capacity building and networking contributing to the optimisation of healthcare activities and practices, by providing feedback from and facilitating communication with patients.
Applicants must include data on the following specific action-level indicators in their regular reporting activities, and must be prepared to include additional specific actionlevel indicators where needed:
Project budgets (maximum grant amount) are expected to range between € 500,000 and € 1,000,000 per project.
The costs will be reimbursed at the funding rate fixed in the Grant Agreement (60%). Your organisation can apply for a higher project funding rate (80%) if your project is of “exceptional utility” where at least 30% of the budget of the operating grants is allocated to activities in (one or more) Member States whose Gross Net Income per inhabitant is less than 90% of the EU average.
