The Creative Europe Programme supports the culture and audiovisual sectors.
Specific objectives:
The European Heritage Label is one of the most valuable EU initiatives to strengthen European citizens’ sense of belonging to the Union. The focus on the European dimension of cultural heritage sites and the common values they represent is a distinctive feature of this label.
The general objective of the call is to support the development of a European Heritage Label umbrella organisation ensuring networking, collaboration, training and opportunities among the EHL stakeholders. This EHL umbrella organisation will be key to ensuring the sustainability of the European Heritage Label. This call for proposals will contribute to the implementation of the EHL general objectives of “strengthening European Citizens’ sense of belonging to the Union, in particular that of young people, based on shared values and elements of European history and cultural heritage, as well as an appreciation of national and regional diversity; and strengthening intercultural dialogue”.
This call aims to support a wide array of activities implemented in the EU Member States participating in the EHL. Activities taking place outside the 27 EU member States (benefiting or not from an EHL Sites) will not be supported.
