The primary aim of the event is to effectively disseminate information to potential applicants in the Cyprus Research and Innovation ecosystem, about the currently available funding opportunities of the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture & Environment” Work Programme 2024. The Horizon Europe Cluster 6 2024 Calls for Proposals, opened on 17 October 2023 with a deadline for submission end of February 2024. The 2024 Work Programme includes 75 new topics proposing over €890 Mil. of EU funding to support the best actions. Participants to the event will learn about call topics and identify those where their ideas may fit best. They will also have the chance to ask questions related to proposal submission directly to experts from the European Commission and the National Contact Points for Cluster 6 and receive feedback. Finally, the event provides an opportunity to meet potential partners for joint submission of proposals. TARGET AUDIENCE: The event is addressed to potential applicants from all types of organizations (e.g. Higher Education Institutions, Research Organizations, SMEs, Enterprises, NGOs, Public Sector Departments, Researchers and Innovators), especially teams with specialization in the fields of food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and the environment. It should be noted, however, that the cross sectoral character of Cluster 6 Call objectives provides several opportunities for participation of intersectoral teams, as well as researchers and other stakeholders from any disciplines, including the Social Sciences.
