On 23-24 November, the fourth EU Clean Air Forum will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. A selection of LIFE projects will participate there.

The fourth Clean Air Forum will bring together clean air stakeholders and interested parties from across the European Union, including competent authorities of the Member States at all relevant levels, the Commission, industry, civil society, and the scientific community in a one-and-a-half-day conference. The event will serve as a platform to reflect on the development and implementation of effective European, national and local air policies, projects and programmes. Attention will be paid also to the ongoing revision of EU rules on ambient air quality. LIFE participation: The following LIFE projects will be present at the event: LIFE CLINSH  is dedicated to enhancing urban air quality by implementing emission-reducing technologies and alternative fuels within the Inland Waterway transport sector. Through practical testing, this project has provided valuable insights into the effectiveness and operational costs of these innovations, contributing significantly to the pursuit of cleaner urban environments. LIFE-CMC  has a long-term goal to advance sustainability within the dairy farming industry. The project focuses on reducing ammonia emissions and establishing circular farming practices. Key to its success is the innovative Lely Sphere system, which combines various technologies, including a modified barn floor, a manure robot and an air extraction unit that converts ammonia from manure into circular fertiliser. The LIFE Programme will also participate with a stand on the Promenade Deck in the Catering & Exhibition area.
