The action European Cooperation Projects supports projects involving organisations in the cultural and creative sectors of all sizes, including micro-organisations and smallsized organisations, and from different countries to undertake sectoral or cross-sectoral activities.

Support will be given to cooperation projects contributing to only one of the following objectives:

• Objective 1 – Transnational creation and circulation: to strengthen the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists.
• Objective 2 – Innovation: to enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, to innovate, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth.

Music Moves Europe

This MME call aims to support the green transition and environmental sustainability of the European music ecosystem.

This call aims to support the implementation of the following three priorities:

1. A strategic needs assessment identifying practices in the music ecosystem that need to change and a mapping (by themes and musical subsector) of best/innovative green practices or tools. The purpose of this activity is to provide information to the music sector and its organisations/professionals on greening issues and existing practices.
2. A capacity building/awareness-raising and training programme for the music sector to improve skills and knowledge in order to facilitate the sector’s green transition.
3. A financial support scheme redistributing funds (through cascading grants) to organisations (“third parties”) active in the music sector to adopt best/innovative practices for its green transition and environmental sustainability.

Supporting Ukrainian artists and cultural organisations to co-create/showcase

Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has had devastating effects on the Ukrainian cultural and creative sectors with many organisations and artists that cannot operate and reach out to their national and international audiences. In addition, many Ukrainians, whether refugees or internally/internationally displaced people, do not have full access to culture. This call intends to build ties between Ukrainian organisations and their counterparts based in the other countries participating in the Creative Europe programme, therefore furthering their integration into the European landscape and contributing to the EU’s international cultural relations. Within the context of the New European Agenda for Culture, an important element of strengthening social cohesion and resilience is the development of the cultural sector, the protection and restoration of cultural heritage in Ukraine. All of these are necessary not only to help people recover but also to achieve Ukraine’s ambitious goal of a more resilient and inclusive economy and society that can grow in the future.

The objective of this call for proposals is to select projects to respond to the abovementioned challenges and to help Ukrainian cultural and creative sectors organisations, artists and professionals tackle the ongoing and future consequences of the war, in cooperation with organisations from other Creative Europe countries.

Supporting Ukrainian artists and cultural organisations to co-create with their peers in the Creative Europe participating countries and showcase their art and works in Ukraine and in Creative Europe participating countries.

Proposals addressing this priority shall be presented by selecting topic CREA-CULT-2025-COOP-UA-1.

Fostering Ukrainians’ access to culture and cultural heritage

In addition, many Ukrainians, whether refugees or internally/internationally displaced people, do not have full access to culture. This call intends to build ties between Ukrainian organisations and their counterparts based in the other countries participating in the Creative Europe programme, therefore furthering their integration into the European landscape and contributing to the EU’s international cultural relations. Within the context of the New European Agenda for Culture, an important element of strengthening social cohesion and resilience is the development of the cultural sector, the protection and restoration of cultural heritage in Ukraine. All of these are necessary not only to help people recover but also to achieve Ukraine’s ambitious goal of a more resilient and inclusive economy and society that can grow in the future.
